Eligibility for Admission Application<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

  1. \n

    Basic Eligibility<\/strong>
    \nApplicants must meet one of the following criteria:<\/p>\n\n

      \n \t
    • Current or graduated students from public or accredited private high schools or higher institutions in Taiwan or abroad.<\/li>\n \t
    • Individuals meeting the \u201cEquivalent Academic Qualifications for University Admission\u201d standards for undergraduate programs (refer to Appendix 2 for details).
      \nApplicants must have taken the following exams:<\/li>\n \t
    • Academic Proficiency Test<\/li>\n \t
    • High School English Listening Test<\/li>\n \t
    • Skills Test<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

      Note:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

        \n \t
      • Applicants using foreign academic qualifications (including those from overseas, Hong Kong, Macau, or Mainland China) must have their credentials verified by the admitting university during the second stage of the designated review process.<\/li>\n \t
      • Other academic credentials will be reviewed during enrollment. If found ineligible, admission will be revoked.<\/li>\n \t
      • Applicants under Articles 6 and 7 of the \u201cEquivalent Academic Qualifications for University Admission\u201d standards must submit relevant documentation for review and approval by the university's admission committee before proceeding to the second-stage screening.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n \t
      • \n

        Examination Requirements<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

          \n \t
        • Applicants may choose tests according to the requirements of the programs they apply to. For instance:\n
            \n \t
          • If a program does not require a Skills Test or High School English Listening Test, applicants need only take the Academic Proficiency Test.<\/li>\n \t
          • For programs requiring these additional tests, details are provided in the admissions guidelines:\n
              \n \t
            • Appendix V: List of programs requiring Skills Tests<\/li>\n \t
            • Appendix VI: Programs requiring High School English Listening Tests<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n \t

              Advanced Placement Credit System (APCS) Test<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                \n \t
              • Programs requiring APCS must complete the test, which includes:\n
                  \n \t
                • Programming Concepts<\/li>\n \t
                • Programming Practice<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n \t
                • APCS scores are valid for three years, and applicants must take the test between March 2021 and February 2024. The best score within this period will be considered.<\/li>\n \t
                • Refer to Appendix VII for the list of programs requiring APCS.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n \t
                • \n

                  Youth Savings Account Programs<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                    \n \t
                  • Only students with a Youth Savings Account may apply to programs under this category.<\/li>\n \t
                  • Applicants must apply within two years of completing the program. Failing to do so will result in forfeiture of eligibility.<\/li>\n \t
                  • Students who have already enrolled in higher education through the \u201cYouth Education and Employment Savings Account Program\u201d are not eligible for this application.<\/li>\n \t
                  • Refer to Appendix VIII for the list of programs under the Youth Savings Account category.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n \t
                  • \n

                    Restrictions<\/strong><\/p>\n\n

                      \n \t
                    • Students admitted to the 2024 (113th academic year) \u201cStar Recommendation\u201d for Groups 1 to 7 are not eligible for application.<\/li>\n \t
                    • Applicants admitted through the \u201cSpecial Selection Admission Program\u201d or \u201cJoint Special Selection Admission for Technological Colleges and Junior Colleges\u201d for the 2024 academic year, and who have not forfeited their enrollment, are also ineligible.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ol><\/h1><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div><\/div>
