University Admission Application

Eligibility for Application

(一) Recent or graduated students from domestic or international public or registered private senior high schools, advanced vocational schools, or higher education institutions; or those who meet the requirements for applying to undergraduate programs based on the "Standards for Recognizing Equivalent Qualifications for Admission to Universities" (see Appendix 2) and have taken subject proficiency tests, high school English listening tests, or professional skills tests.
※ For applicants with foreign academic qualifications (including those who hold foreign, Hong Kong, Macao, and Mainland China academic qualifications), their academic credentials must be verified by the admitting university during the second-stage screening process. For applicants with domestic academic qualifications, the verification will be conducted at the time of enrollment. Applicants whose eligibility is found not to meet the requirements during the verification process will have their admission canceled and will not be allowed to register for enrollment.
※ Applicants who apply based on Articles 6 and 7 of the "Standards for Recognizing Equivalent Qualifications for Admission to Universities" must have their relevant academic and experiential credentials verified by the admitting university during the second-stage screening process. The credentials must be approved by the university's admissions committee before the applicants can participate in the second-stage screening process for designated items.

(二) The aforementioned three tests, including the subject proficiency test, high school English listening test, and professional skills test, can be taken based on the applicant's choice, according to the requirements of the applied department. For example, if a student did not apply to a department that requires the professional skills test or high school English listening test, they may only take the subject proficiency test.
※Please refer to the "Section II: Regulations" subsection W, "List of Departments Requiring Professional Skills Test," and subsection X, "List of Departments Adopting High School English Listening Test," for the departments that require the professional skills test and high school English listening test, respectively.

(三) For the departments that require the "Advanced Programming in the High School Curriculum" (APCS) test during the screening process, applicants must take the APCS test separately. The APCS test is divided into two sections: "Concepts of Programming" and "Programming Implementation." The results of the test are valid for three years (applicants must take the APCS test between March 2020 and February 2023, and the best score will be used for admission consideration).
※ Please refer to the "Section II, Regulations" Table G for the list of departments requiring the APCS test in the trial screening process.

(四) Youth Savings Account Group" is only open to students who hold a youth savings account. Students who have applied to and passed the screening for the "Youth Savings Account Group" in the past are not allowed to apply for this admission again. Students who have already registered for admission through any education channels under the "Youth Education and Employment Savings Account Program" are not allowed to participate in this admission.
※ The "Youth Savings Account Program Group" refers to the departments approved by the Ministry of Education to admit students with youth savings accounts. Please refer to the "Section II: Regulations" of this brochure for the list of departments participating in the Youth Savings Account Program.

(五) Students admitted through the "Star Program" for the first through seventh academic clusters in the 111 academic year are not allowed to apply for admission.

(六) Candidates who have been admitted and enrolled through the "Special Talent Admission Program for the 112 Academic Year of Universities" and "Joint Admission for Special Talent Students in 4-year Technology Colleges, 2-year Junior Colleges for the 112 Academic Year" and have not forfeited their admission eligibility are not eligible to apply for "Admission Application".
