Eligibility for Admission Application

Basic Eligibility
Applicants must meet one of the following criteria:- Current or graduated students from public or accredited private high schools or higher institutions in Taiwan or abroad.
- Individuals meeting the “Equivalent Academic Qualifications for University Admission” standards for undergraduate programs (refer to Appendix 2 for details).
Applicants must have taken the following exams: - Academic Proficiency Test
- High School English Listening Test
- Skills Test
Note:
- Applicants using foreign academic qualifications (including those from overseas, Hong Kong, Macau, or Mainland China) must have their credentials verified by the admitting university during the second stage of the designated review process.
- Other academic credentials will be reviewed during enrollment. If found ineligible, admission will be revoked.
- Applicants under Articles 6 and 7 of the “Equivalent Academic Qualifications for University Admission” standards must submit relevant documentation for review and approval by the university's admission committee before proceeding to the second-stage screening.

Examination Requirements
- Applicants may choose tests according to the requirements of the programs they apply to. For instance:
- If a program does not require a Skills Test or High School English Listening Test, applicants need only take the Academic Proficiency Test.
- For programs requiring these additional tests, details are provided in the admissions guidelines:

- Applicants may choose tests according to the requirements of the programs they apply to. For instance:

Advanced Placement Credit System (APCS) Test
- Programs requiring APCS must complete the test, which includes:
- Programming Concepts
- Programming Practice
- APCS scores are valid for three years, and applicants must take the test between March 2021 and February 2024. The best score within this period will be considered.

Youth Savings Account Programs
- Only students with a Youth Savings Account may apply to programs under this category.
- Applicants must apply within two years of completing the program. Failing to do so will result in forfeiture of eligibility.
- Students who have already enrolled in higher education through the “Youth Education and Employment Savings Account Program” are not eligible for this application.
- Refer to Appendix VIII for the list of programs under the Youth Savings Account category.

Restrictions
- Students admitted to the 2024 (113th academic year) “Star Recommendation” for Groups 1 to 7 are not eligible for application.
- Applicants admitted through the “Special Selection Admission Program” or “Joint Special Selection Admission for Technological Colleges and Junior Colleges” for the 2024 academic year, and who have not forfeited their enrollment, are also ineligible.
