Eligibility for Recommendation and Registration
  • Eligible Candidates:
    (1) Graduating students of the 2023 academic year (112th school year) who have studied continuously at the same public or accredited private high school in Taiwan throughout their first, second, and the first semester of their third year, meeting the following criteria:

    • Students who have completed the regular curriculum in the general program.
    • Students who have fully participated in academic programs approved by the Ministry of Education, including natural sciences and social sciences.
    • Students enrolled in specialized programs established under the Special Education Act, Arts Education Act, Experimental Education Guidelines for Senior Secondary Schools, or Guidelines for Establishing Arts and Sports Programs (e.g., music, fine arts, dance, and sports programs).

General program students also include those enrolled in programs such as science classes, mathematics and science gifted programs, language gifted programs, humanities and social sciences gifted programs, creative ability gifted programs, or Indigenous arts and talent programs, as defined by the Ministry of Education's statistical classifications for high school programs. However, students in night school programs, bilingual departments, or specialized programs such as drama classes established for specific purposes with Ministry approval are not eligible.

    (2) "Studying continuously at the same public or accredited private high school in Taiwan" refers to students whose enrollment records for the first, second, and third years are consistent with the same school or who have demonstrably attended the same school throughout, with academic evaluations conducted uniformly for all enrolled students, as reviewed and approved by the school's recommendation committee.
"Graduating students of the 112th school year" refers to students currently enrolled and scheduled to graduate in the 2023 academic year.

  • Academic and Examination Requirements:
Students meeting the above criteria must also rank within the percentage thresholds specified by universities for their academic performance. Additionally, they must meet the minimum standards set for the following assessments, as outlined in the admissions guidelines:

    • Academic Proficiency Tests
    • High School English Listening Tests
    • Skills Tests

Eligible students can then be recommended by their respective schools following these admissions regulations.
